Secretary Jewell, U.S. Congresswoman Nita Lowey and New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Commissioner Rose Harvey tour the Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area and participate in a sign unveiling ceremony at Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park for the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route National Historic Trail, where the allied armies of General Rochambeau’s French Army and General Washington’s Continental Army constituted the largest troop movement of the American Revolution. Secretary Jewell will also participate in a roundtable discussion with stakeholders on the key role NPS plays in preserving America’s historic and cultural heritage.
