Male and female short-tailed albatross are finally reunited.

This male and female pair of short-tailed albatross are reunited at Midway Atoll NWR. They successfully raised the first short-tailed albatross chick born outside of Japan in 2012 and laid another egg in 2013. The short-tailed albatross is an extremely rare and endangered seabird and Midway Atoll NWR is proud to play a role in the species survival.
