Golden Eagle on Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge
This golden eagle was pursuing a white-tailed jackrabbit along the Auto Tour Route. The golden eagle eaglets have hatched so he (I am speculating he is a he) is now feeding himself, the female, and the eaglets. He was unsuccessful on this attempt and flew off into the sage-steppe. When I spotted him an hour later his crop was full and it looked like the female was feeding the eaglets.
