Federally endangered yellow-legged frog

The FWS is currently monitoring the following two populations of the Mountain Yellow-Legged frog


- Southern California population, endangered. Found in California and Nevada .


- all mountain yellow-legged frogs that occur north of the Tehachapi Mountains in the Sierra Nevada. This is a candidate for listing on the endangeres species act. Occurs in California and Nevada.
