Buff-breasted sandpiper display

Each June, shorebirds arrive from their wintering grounds to breed and nest in the Arctic. Each has their own display to attract a mate: the male buff-breasted sandpipers gather in small groups called "leks" to try and outdo each other in catching the attention of females.
