These forests have awe-inspiring geology – including lava fields, cinder cones and unusual formations like ancient tree molds. It contains the longest known lava tube system in the world as well as the Giant Crater, a volcano spanning 10 times the size of Mt. St. Helen that has left behind obsidian deposits throughout the landscape.
