Ambassador Friedman visited the Peres Center for Peace & Innovation on February 28, 2109, and toured a new interactive exhibit on Israeli innovation with Chairman Chemi Peres. The exhibit outlines the unique story of Israeli innovation, showcases Israeli advancements in medicine, agriculture and technology and highlights the global impact of Israel’s achievements. Chairman Peres also briefed the Ambassador on the broader development and peace initiatives of the Peres Center. Ambassador Friedman gave extemporaneous remarks congratulating a diverse group of young Israeli entrepreneurs who have been selected by the Peres Center for a start-up accelerator program for young people from marginalized communities in Israel.
