Israel's newest aircraft, the American-made C130J "Shimshon" arrived at the Nevatim air base in southern Israel. A state-of-the-art tactical airlift asset, the C-130J, manufactured by Lockheed Martin, has vastly improved performance, which will help Israel modernize and more fully integrate her airborne assets. It can fly higher, farther, and faster than its predecessor, and can carry a larger payload. The C-130J is a clear representation of the exceptional security cooperation relationship between the U.S. and Israel.
