Embassy Brings Diverse Communities Together to Share Thanksgiving Dinner
Deputy Chief of Mission Leslie Tsou November 14 hosted the annual interfaith and diversity Thanksgiving dinner for a group of 80 community leaders from across the Israeli mosaic. DCM Tsou highlighted the Embassy's focus on building relationships of respect and dialogue between faith communities and supporting initiatives that promote a shared society for Israel’s Arab and Jewish populations. PAO Terry Davidson facilitated the Thanksgiving prayers provided by Rabbi Shemtov, Sheikh Ammar and Latin Vicar Kildawi, each giving their blessing for the unique gathering. While many of the invitees were Public Diplomacy contacts, the guest list was put together with input from across the mission.
