U.S. Embassy Tel Aviv brought DC-based “Step Afrika!” Dance Company to Israel, bringing together people of different cultures and empowering local communities. The Company gave two electrifying shows in Jerusalem and Haifa and reached out to local Jewish and Arab youth through a series of dynamic workshops. All participants learned that through teamwork, discipline, and respect for one another, phenomenal results can be achieved – even in one hour. The Company ran workshops in Taybeh, Akko, Kibbutz Mizra, Jerusalem, and Kfar Yassif.
