Israel Joins Power Africa Partnership

On Monday, December 4, 2017 the Government of the United States and the Government of Israel entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) allowing Israel to join the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Power Africa Partnership. The signing ceremony was attended by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, U.S. Power Africa Coordinator Andrew Herscowitz, Ambassadors and representatives from several African nations, and other dignitaries.
