USAID Administrator Rajiv Shah visits Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi

U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Dr. Rajiv Shah visited the Anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART) Center at the Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi on December 21, 2011. Dr. Shah met senior National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) officials, doctors, activists and HIV positive patients and underscored the joint commitment of the U.S. and Indian governments in the fight against AIDS. Dr. Shah, the highest-ranking Indian-American in the Obama administration, was here on a two-day visit to discuss the future of U.S.-India development collaboration.
