IFTAR Dinner

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) hosted its fifth annual Ramadan dinner at the USDA Whitten Building patio on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013. For the second year in a row, Islamic Relief USA had the privilege of sponsoring the event’s dinner. Islamic Relief USA works with the USDA as well as numerous other organizations to help alleviate hunger. In one joint initiative with the USDA, IRUSA helps support community organizations across America that provide summer meals to low-income youth who rely on free or reduced-cost school lunches during the school year.
