Soybeans Afghan 2

The seed variety delivered, called Sheyenne, was selected because it is suited for the tough, mountainous environment of Afghanistan and because it matures in 90-100 days. The shipment is part of the Foreign Agricultural Service’s (FAS) Food for Progress Program and will provide Afghan farmers with 68.5 metric tons of early maturing soybean seeds to plant.
