Capitol Visitor Center Skylight - U.S. Capitol

The Capitol Visitor Center, which opened in December 2008, included a number of sustainable design elements in its architecture and construction.

Built below ground, the skylights in Emancipation Hall allow for the CVC to use less lights during the day, resulting in energy savings for the AOC.
