Officials with International Boundary and Water Commission, United States and Mexico, today announced the signing of a new Colorado River agreement, Minute 323, "Extension of Cooperative Measures and Adoption of a Binational Water Scarcity Contingency Plan in the Colorado River Basin. Speakers included: U.S. Commissioner Edward Drusina, Mexican Commissioner Roberto Salmon, Deputy Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt, Thomas Buschatzke, Director – Arizona Department of Water Resources, Jennifer Pitt, National Audubon Society and Osvel Hinojosa, Pronatura Noroesta.
