Saber Strike 2016

Scouts conducted the culminating training event in addition to various multinational training during a rotation in Latvia in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve, a multinational demonstration of continued U.S. commitment to the collective security of North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies. The training prepares U.S. Army soldiers to conduct multinational operations with allied and partnered nations, including the upcoming Saber Strike 16, a long-standing U.S Army Europe-led cooperative training exercise. This year’s exercise, which will take place from May 26 to June 21, will facilitate cooperation amongst the U.S., Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania to improve joint operational capability in a range of missions as well as preparing the 13 participating nations to support multinational contingency operations.(U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
