Army engages young scientists in lab work
ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Md. -- Student scientists are helping the Army develop insect-sized robots that can infiltrate a building and warn Soldiers of an impending threat.
These autonomous robots could be equipped with heat or acoustic sensors and deployed in dangerous situations.
Summer interns at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory are working alongside Army civilian scientists to find solutions to the military’s toughest technological challenges.
