Chief Warrant Officer 5 Manny Vasquez, U.S. Army Africa Command Targeting Officer, presented a donation of 150 euro to benefit Vicenza area residents who are recovering from the recent flood and its aftermath to Giuseppe Priolo, branch manager of the Banco Popolare di Vicenza Nov. 24 on behalf of the South of the Alps Warrant Officers Association, of which he is the vice president.

The contribution comes at just the right time, said family member Sara Consiglio, who accompanied Vasquez to act as interpreter.

“Many of the local people are still hurting, especially at this time of the year,” she said.
