IMS Flag Ceremony 14-02
The Command and General Staff College held its International Flag Ceremony at 9 a.m. on 10 FEB 2014 at Fort Leavenworth's Lewis and Clark Center. The ceremony features posting of the colors of the nations represented by the International students attending Command and Staff Officer's Class 2014-02 here.

Since international military education began here in 1894, more than 7,500 international officers have attended classes alongside their United States counterparts.

International students from CGSC have been extremely successful. The college's International Hall of Fame includes the portraits of 252 international officers who have achieved the position of Chief of their nation's Army or higher. Twenty seven course graduates have become heads of state and four are currently serving as the leader of their nations.
