Belle of Louisville celebrates 100 years

The Louisville community as well as a fleet of renowned riverboats from around the country gathered Oct. 14-19, 2014, to commemorate 100 years of the Belle of Louisville, the oldest operating Mississippi-style steamboat in the world. The Belle is also recognized as a National Historic Landmark. Louisville District Commander Col. Christopher Beck took part in the opening ceremony of the Centennial Festival of Riverboats.
