U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Juniper Visits Halifax

The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Juniper stopped in Halifax on April 17 after completing a ceremonial trip to the site where the Titanic sank one hundred years earlier. While positioned over the site on April 15, crew members scattered over 1 million rose petals donated by visitors to the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Acting Principal Officer Koski and Consul Eric Johnson received a tour of the ship during its visit to Halifax.
