Equipment Operator 3rd Class Thomas Dahlke, assigned to Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2, gives the OK sign before beginning a low-visibility underwater cutting evolution with a diver assigned to the Republic of Korea's (ROK) UCT in Jinhae, ROK, as part of exercise Foal Eagle April 6, 2017. Foal Eagle is an annual, bilateral training exercise designed to enhance the readiness of U.S. and ROK forces and their ability to work together during a crisis. The Sailors of Construction Dive Detachment Charlie are on the second stop of their deployment where they are conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs of various underwater and waterfront facilities in support of the Pacific Fleet.
