On 11 July, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker hosted a joint press conference with European Commissioner Vera Jourova on Privacy Shield, reaffirming U.S. and EU commitment to the agreement. As Secretary Pritzker said, "The free flow of data is important for business and consumers. The U.S. and EU are committed to a smooth transition."
