Cross-border terrorism and the migration security nexus was the topic of discussion of last night's YPFP event, sponsored by the U.S. Mission to the EU. Homeland Security Attache to the EU and NATO, Erik Barnett, and Guilio Di Biasi, Member of the Cabient of the High Representative VP Federica Mogherini in charge of migration, had a lively discussion on migration and cross-border terrorism. The differences between regular and irregular migration were identified, as well as the politicisation of migration factors.
