I did this a while ago as a test but it turned out quite well and it was fun...

    yeah, interesting idea, but the execution is weak.

    this was a good try and you should investigate it more and make everything more concentrated

    @urban disturbance.

    I assumed you used an intervolmeter (Multi exposure) shot, i guess its a canon term. shooting the same picture frame over a period of time.

    no, put the camera on a tripod, took the shots wit the self-timer and moved around the room. Then took one image as the base and cut and pasted all clones into the base image. Before that I tweaked brighness etc for all of them...I am quite happy with the result but I admit it could have been done better, for instance I did not feather the cutouts...but as i mentioned only an experiment, I might do a proper one sometime...

    i am giving it a save. it's hard work paid off shot in my book. i love the composition - it's not your simple window sill crack artsiness - it's an interior shot. it has magazine feel polish to it. i am surprised at some of the flat comments.

    Interesting work. I don't know. It just doesn't really do much for me.

    Yeah, too much unneccesary detail here, doesn't work for me.

    Well done, for an experiment.

    Now go back and do this in an environment more conducive to a good photo (IE *no* distractions)

    worthy as an experiment, but the composition itself is too snapshotty (a new, DM-specific adjective — pass it on!). keep trying.

    better than 'snapshitty'
    (another new term)
  • JJParé 10y

    this is true.
  • Lars PRO 10y

    if you knew how long it took to create this whole thing you wouldn't call it snapshotty .-)
