Cascade Foothills covered in snow (Washington) from Rocky Butte
The temperature reached 62F/17C and it was sunny, so April and myself decided to take a little ride around town to get us warmed up for more riding in general. We used the Springwater Corridor and I-205 bike path and rode to the top of Rocky Butte, a volcanic cinder cone in NE Portland 612 feet (187 metres) high with the best 360 degree view in town! City, Cascades, Columbia River and Gorge, all there! All in all, a 23 mile ride.
