Egg Eyes Cubed (OOF & Conversion)
Red/Cyan 3D glasses required for viewing.
I put the cube together using Photoshop but although the 3 sides had depth because the images are anaglyph, the cube itself was flat. To give the cube depth, I converted it in PS from 2D-3D. Because the cube extends outside the black background, it can also be considered a simplified OOF (Out Of Frame) or OOB (Out Of Bounds).
Compare it to my first anaglyph cube experiment where I did not convert the cube itself from 2D to 3D. The 3D shape and angle of the cube helps the illusion that the cube has depth but it is actually flat. The anaglyphs around the cube have depth.
To compare, with 3D glasses on, run your mouse cursor along each cube to see the one converted above has different depth levels while the un-converted cube below has the same level throughout.
