      Hi colleague!

      How's it SOUND like?

      Looks like
      a) it is MUCH lighter, and of course a lot smaller (won't fit into a Fiat Uno, though); =) and
      b) it is much LESS LOUD in the bottom end (since the lower portion of the body is greatly reduced).

Even so, the advantage of a) would male the compromise of b) acceptable, if it is still OK.

And BTW, unlike other “baby uprights”, this still looks like real — weird, but real … ;-)

My son has one - it's made of awesomeness. Not only is it easier to carry/play, but in it's flight case, it's 'checkable' - less than 50lbs IN THE CASE! The flight case has wheels and a handle, so it's like a suitcase! very easy to move around.

it's sounds better than the 'student' 3/4 we had before, but doesn't have as much 'thump' as a high quality 3/4... We got it with the Realistic transducer pickup, which works wonderfully. Plugged in, it's as good as any bass.

We first saw one in Italy when Esperanza was on tour - we figured if it was good enough for her, it's good enough for us!
