This image was scanned from a glass lantern slide from the Wilson Harold Maze Collection.
Wilson Harold Maze, (1911-1985) Geographer and Administrator at the University of Sydney, donated this collection, depicting images of the Lower Hunter in the early 1930’s, to Professor Cyril Renwick at the Hunter Valley Research Foundation in 1980. The collection is now held in Cultural Collections at the University of Newcastle.
