Using a $10,000 grant implemented jointly by the UN Women Program and the Kumtor Operating Company, a large gold mining operation in Kyrgyzstan, the Altyn Oimok handicraft shop in the village of Bokokbaevo purchased this wool brushing machine to expedite the processing of raw wool. It now takes one month to do what used to take three months, allowing the facility to hire more staff to help complete orders faster.
