A worker from the Ak Zhalga Milk Collection Station in the village of Altymysh, Kyrgyzstan, collects milk

A worker from the Ak Zhalga Milk Collection Station in the village of Altymysh, Kyrgyzstan, collects milk produced by cows on the small farm of the UN Women Program beneficiary Galima Muhametarimovna. The milk will be stored in special milk cooler tanks, purchased with a $10,000 UN Women Project grant in 2009, until a dairy distributor from Bishkek arrives to collect the milk each week.
