A worker from the Ak Zhalga Milk Collection Station in the village of Altymysh, Kyrgyzstan, measures the fat content of milk produced by cows on the small farm of the UN Women Program beneficiary Galima Muhametarimovna before he loads it into the truck for collection. The milk will be stored in special milk cooler tanks, purchased with a $10,000 UN Women Project grant in 2009, until a dairy distributor from Bishkek arrives to collect the milk each week.
