Ciné-ONU: Unseen Enemy
On 7 June 2017, Ciné-ONU partnered with Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevölkerung to screen 'Unseen Enemy'. The film shares the firsthand experiences of the families and healthcare workers impacted by Ebola, Zika and Influenza outbreaks around the world, making the case for improving global healthcare. Following the film, there was an interactive discussion with Janet Tobias (Unseen Enemy director); Dr Erika Vlieghe (Institute of Tropical Medicine, Antwerp), and Barbara Kerstiens (European Commission), moderated by Carlos Jimenez (UNRIC).
