Service and Sacrifice in Mali with MINUSMA, 2017
The UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) Camp in Kidal was targeted by intensive rocket and mortar fire on 8 June 2017. Five MINUSMA personnel were injured. Soon after, an attack on peacekeepers outside the camp left three peacekeepers dead and three more wounded.
