UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres arrived in Addis Ababa on 9 July, 2018 for the Second Annual African Union - United Nations Conference which was held at the African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa on the same date. He was received by (from left to right) Ms. Ahunna Eziakonwa-Onochie, the incoming UNDP Regional Bureau Director for Africa, Ms. Sahle-Work Zewdie, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General to the African Union and Head of UNOAU, Ms. Vera Songwe, the Executive Secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Africa and Mr. Azanaw Tadesse, the Director of International Organizations Directorate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.
