The UN Secretary-General met with H.E. Prime Minister Hailemariam of Ethiopia a day ahead of the 30th AU Summit. The SG was joined by Mr. Khassim Diagne (Director, Executive Office of the UN Secretary-General), Ms. Ahunna Eziakonwa-Onochie (UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Ethiopia), Mr. Haile Menkerios (Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNOAU), Ms. Vera Songwe (Executive Secretary of the ECA) and Mr. Jean-Pierre Lacroix (Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations)
