As Argentina has assumed presidency of the G20, Ambassador Villagra Delgado met with UN principals in Addis Ababa. In the meeting, Ambassador Delgado shared his country's priorities outlined for the duration of the presidency which included infrastructural development, the development of sustainable agriculture, inclusion among other key issues. The Special Representative of the Secretary-General to the African Union and Head of UNOAU, Mr Haile Menkerios highlighted the UN-AU Joint Framework for Peace and Security as well as the recently signed framework on development cooperation between the UN and AU. He added that Argentina's G20 presidency priorities constitute some of core elements that can foster efforts towards the attainment of peace, security and development.
