During the Second Annual African Union - United Nations Conference held on 9 July, 2018 at the African Union Headquarters, the UN Secretary-General and AU Chairperson addressed a session of the African Union Peace and Council. In this session, the need for greater collaboration between the AU Peace and Security Council, and the UN Security Council was emphasized.
