The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and the African Union Peace and Security Council (AUPSC) held their 11th Joint Consultative meeting in Addis Ababa on 8th September, 2017. Council members discussed peace and security issues in Africa, specifically, on conflict and crisis situations in Somalia, South Sudan and the Lake Chad Basin.
