The UN Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations, Jean-Pierre Lacroix and the AU Commissioner for Peace and Security undertook a joint mission to Sudan and the Central African Republic in April 2018. Shortly after concluding the mission, they briefed the AU Peace and Security Council.
