Duffy's Cut, 2012

Dr. Janet Monge, Curator, Physical Anthropology, Penn Museum, positions a Duffy’s Cut jaw fragment against the same area on a human skull. Dental evidence allowed researchers to positively identify the remains of John Ruddy, one of the 57 Irish immigrants who perished while working on a railroad project in Chester County in 1832.
