South Oval Mums
Named one of the nation’s most beautiful college campuses, the University of Oklahoma attracts thousands of visitors each fall to view its outstanding chrysanthemum gardens. This year’s theme is “Homecoming 2016.” Over 15,000 mums and 5,000 little red Joseph’s coat plants were used in this year’s design. They are planted to reach peak bloom during Homecoming week so that OU students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends as well as visitors to campus can enjoy the fall display. This year’s design reflects the tradition and history of OU’s colors and logo.
