Swan Song - or maybe Cygnet Song

    Newer Older

The baby sister to the other Swan Song.

From another site: "The 1919 Cygnet, built by the Maharaja of Nabha is now with the Louwman Museum in the Netherlands. The electric car was built for the Maharaja of Nabha's children to drive around the palace grounds." Perhaps the oldest car built in India.

This car was really built and marketed so people could still see the back of a horses head.

I'm sure that I remember seeing this car, or one very similar, in the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu in the UK. I must do some research when time allows.

Nice! It reminds me a lot of the swan stuff (I think they have a cart - was horse drawn) at the older castle opposite Neuschwanstein Castle, in Germany. Neuschwanstein means 'new swan...' I think. Swans get everywhere!

      Great shot!

You would get your ass kicked driving that around my neighborhood.

Shit... priests would prolly even chase you down the street to kick your ass.
