Waverly Hills

I wanted to get a photo of the entire building but since they're renovating there was a lot of equipment around.

ohmygosh, you went to Waverly!?!? I've been tempted to go on one of the "ghost tours" but I'm too chicken. Besides, my great grandmother died there so I'm scared that more spirits would be attracted to me. Or something like that. I'm so lame. :P

Very cool. I really, really want to go up there too. Soon, I think.

Very nice! I want to visit as well...

Daniel Light: We went for a historical tour and it was pretty cool. We're actually going back for a spiritual tour at night sometime soon and I have a feeling that will be even better!

sallymac79: It's really not spooky during the day on the historical tour. I'm sure at night is when all the spookiness of the place comes out.

Wow! My best friend just stayed the night there and loves it. He is obsessed. You captured that huge building splendidly!

I'd like to visit -- I think. Do you get to see much of the place? I'd pay the $20 admission just for permission to have my run of the place. I'm sure I'd enjoy the tour, but how much can you see when you're stopping to listen to narration and waiting for laggards?

Joey Harrison: I wouldn't travel a long distance for the 2 hour tour because they don't let you go off on your own, you do have to stay with the group. If you want to be off on your own they have overnight stays where they let you have run of the place but of course those are more expensive. Anywhere from $50-$100/person for 4-8 hours.

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Waverly Hills Sanatorium, and we'd love to have your photo added to the group.

    This is amazing.
I live far far from this place, but now I really wanna go there.
Been checking up the history of the place and saw they also buildt a tunnel underneath the building to bring the corpses out discreetly.

Amazing that it just stands there..
    Great shot too.
