Cyclone Shelter in Southern Bangladesh

This lone cyclone shelter served as partial protection for this community. I say partial because it wasn't enough for all the villagers. As many locals explained to me, many were forced to split their families - women and children stayed in the shelter while many men had to seek cover by climbing trees and/or trying desperately to find high ground.
