Vogue Theatre, Vancouver

The Vogue Theatre was built in 1941 in the Art Deco/Art Moderne style. Since then it has been one of the most recognizable buildings along Granville St.

Built as a movie theatre as part of Vancouver's "Theatre Row", it is now used as a venue for live events. The theatre seats just over 1,000 people.

The building's heritage status protects its exterior but the current owners have been trying to exploit a loophole and perform major renovations on the interior. So far the City has denied their requests.
