Enlisted service members from U.S. Forces Korea visited the Joint Security Area (JSA) in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), Republic of Korea, 10 May 2023, to help them better understand the efforts of the ROK-U.S. Alliance and United Nations Member States to protect the Korean peninsula. By seeing the Joint Security Area in the present day, enlisted ROK & U.S. Soldiers further understood that division and conflicts are ongoing on the peninsula even today.
