YONGSAN GARRISON, SEOUL, South Korea — Gen. James Thurman, commander, United Nations Command, Combined Forces Command and U.S. Forces Korea, farewells Maj. Gen. Michael Regner, outgoing commanding general, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Korea, and welcomes Maj. Gen. Christopher Owens, incoming commanding general, MARFORK, during a change of command ceremony July 11 at the Collier Community Fitness Center. Owens served as the commander of the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Okinawa, Japan, before assuming command at MARFOR-K.
