Afghan currency as recently as the 1990s.

KABUL, 30 September 2020 - The Taq-e-Zafar Arch of Victory, marking the independence of the country, was built by King Amanullah Khan in 1919 in the Paghman district of Kabul. Depictions of the arch, a well-known symbol of Afghanistan’s rich history, has been used on the Afghan currency as recently as 1990s.
